David C. Ralph, 80, Eau Claire, died Wednesday Nov. 24, 2004, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

David was born in Neillsville Oct. 22, 1924, the son of Homer and Alberta (Harris) Ralph. He married Evelyn Laitinen in Eau Claire on August 24, 1956.

David worked for the city of Eau Claire for many years as a meter reader, retiring in 1988. He was an avid golfer and has played for about 60 years.

David was a member of Princeton Valley Golf Course. He was also a member of the Eau Claire YMCA and attended water aerobics five day a week. David loved spending time with his grandsons.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, Eau Claire; two daughters, Sara (Willie) Coffou and Nancy Ralph, all of Milwaukee; three grandsons, Bennett, Harris and Willie; and three brothers, Homer Ralph, Lancaster, Joseph (Marge) Ralph, Stoughton, and Theodore (Margaret) Ralph, San Antonio, Texas. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Stokes & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy. (Hwy 12 East), Altoona, with Pastor Howard Fehr officiating. Private Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire. Family and friends May call Monday from noon until the time of services at the funeral chapel. Memorials May be sent to the Eau Claire YMCA.
