Miss Kathryne E. Downer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Downer, Town of York, became the bride of Elmer McNamee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom McNamee, Marshfield, at a ceremony which was solemnized Tuesday morning, January 31, 1933, at 8 o'clock by Father Peter Weber at St. Mary's Catholic church at Neillsville.

The bride was attired in a silver gray silk crepe ankle length gown with hat and accessories to match and carried her prayer book. Miss Helen Dauggert, a close friend of the bride, as bridesmaid, wore hyacinth blue flat crepe with hat to match and carried a bouquet of white narcissus. John McNamee, brother of the groom, acted as best man. The groom and best man both wore the conventional blue.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, only the immediate relatives of the young couple being present. Covers were laid for eighteen. Mrs. Victor Downer, sister-in-law of the bride, was table waitress.

The table was decorated with pink and white roses and silver leaves.

The bride has always lived here, attended the Mary Vale school and for a short time attended the Granton high school and since has spent most of her time at home as her mother's helper and is well qualified in the art of home-making.

The groom, who has lived in this community for the past six years, first helping his father in the local cheese factory and the past year and a half held a position in Erhart's store in Granton.

They received many beautiful as well as useful presents.

The young couple will for the present reside with the bride's parents. The many friends of this young couple wish them much joy and happiness.
