BURNED BY EXPLOSION OF AUTO TANK
Frank Pieper, a young man residing near Greenwood, was brought to St. Joseph's Hospital, this city, Wednesday suffering with a badly burned face the result of a gasoline explosion. Pieper owns an automobile and on the day of the accident, after draining the gasoline from the tank, he lit a match to look into the tank to see if there was any oil left. Instantly there was an explosion. The force of the flames struck him in the face nearly blinding him. He will recover. Marshfield Herald.
Pieper lives northeast of this city near Riplinger.
