Nozar, James (19 NOV 1915 - 13 OCT 1964)

James Nozar, 51, Rt 1, Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis., died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1964 at his home in the town of York.

Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church Neillsville, Saturday, Oct. 17 at 2:00 with the Rev. David Kellin of Greenwood and the Rev. Oscar Nichols, Neillsville, officiating. Burial was in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Mr. Nozar was born in Chicago, Ill., and was educated there. As a young man he worked in the steel mills and was married on Feb. 1, 1936, to the former Elizabeth Fulayter at Chicago. They came to Clark County in 1946, located on a farm south of Thorp, now Bernard Mertens, and in 1950 they moved to the William Diercks farm in the Town of York, which they purchased.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Sgt. John Nozar, with the United States Marine Corps, Camp LeJeune, N.C., was unable to attend, and James, at home, a daughter, Carol, at home; one sister, Mrs. Alex Berke, Chicago, Ill., three brothers, Martin and John Nozar, and Joe Bogie, all of Chicago, Ill.; and one grandchild.
