The Rev. David W. Maki of Dorchester officiated at the candlelight ceremony December 2 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, where vows where exchanged by Miss Jane Louise Kremsreiter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kremsreiter of Abbotsford , and Glenn Walter Gaulke, Abbotsford, son of Dr. Wayne Gaulke of Wrightstown and Mrs. Barbara Gaulke, Colby.

The bride was given in marriage by her father during the nuptials for which Greg Reierson sang, Kathy Slipek sang and played guitar, Barb Palmerton played flute, Adelle Frome the organ and Wayne Gaulke sang.

Miss Connie Kremsreiter of Abbotsford was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jody Laher of Medford, Miss Kristin Kremsreiter of Abbotsford, Miss Suzanne Wojner of Madison, Miss Gwen Thomas, Marshfield, and Miss Patti Lamont, Abbotsford.

Robin Laher was flower girl.

Thomas Reinhart of Colby was best man. Groomsman were Greg Gaulke of Park Falls, Steve Schultz and Randy Boss, both of Colby, Tim Kiehl of Eau Claire and Steve Dyreks of St. Louis, and ushering were Brad Podevels, Jim Wellner and John Drury.

The bride, a secretary for C-Way Industries Inc., is a 1980 Abbotsford High School graduate. Her husband, a substitute teacher, is a 1978 graduate of Colby High School and a 1982 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

They are living in Abbotsford as 123 N. Fourth St.

Turville, Gail Marie (03 December 1983)

Miss Gail Marie Turville and Dean Michael Colby, both of Neillsville, children of Mrs. Roger Hanby of Neillsville, Wayne Turville of Tucson, Arizona and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Colby Sr., Greenwood were married December 3 with judge Michael Brennan officiating at the rites at the Chester Turville home.

Attendants were Julie Schoolmaster of Neillsville and Todd Hoeper, Greenwood. Bud Havlik sang and played the guitar.

A reception followed at the Chester Turville home with a dance at the Neillsville American Legion Hall.

The newlyweds plan a wedding trip to Texas in February.

The bride is a 1981 graduate of Neillsville High School and a 1982 graduate of District 1 Technical Institute-Eau Claire. He attended Greenwood High School and works for Neillsville Rendering.

Pvt. Ricky A. Dunow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen L. Dunow, Dorchester, has completed basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

During the training, students received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military justice, first aid, and Army history and traditions. He is a 1983 graduate of Colby High School.

Pvt. Joseph A. Reynolds, son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Reynolds, Route 1, Dorchester, has completed the Army's construction and equipment repair specialist course, Level I, At Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Reynolds was trained to repair diesel engines, fuel systems, transmissions, brakes and hydraulic networks. He is a 1983 graduate of Colby High School.

Underwood, Florence (07 April 1908 - 17 December 1983)

COLBY - Mrs. Lyle (Florence) Underwood, 75, Colby, died Saturday at her home.

Services will be Wednesday at the Rux Funeral Home, Colby. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix of First United Church of Christ, Colby, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.

The former Florence Poppe was born April 7, 1908 in Withee, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Edna Timlin) Poppe. She was married to Emery "Pete" Neitzel. He died April 1, 1943. On August 1, 1950, she and Lyle Underwood were married in Dorchester. He died this past October 17.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Neitzel of Colby and Bernard Neitzel of Windlake; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Geraldine) Billed of Norwalk, California; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Clara Rahm of Abbotsford and Gertrude Olson of Humbird.

She was also predeceased by five sisters.

Schoenherr, Eleanor (22 September 1922 - 17 December 1983)

NEILLSVILLE - Services for Mrs. Herbert S. (Eleanor R.) Schoenherr, 61, Route 1, Neillsville, who died Saturday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, will be Wednesday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville.

The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff will officiate. St. John's school choir, accompanied by Paul Tess will provide the music. Burial will be in Dells Dam Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arnold Buchholz, Merlyn Kroll, Louis Dux, Gordon Thoma, Wilmer Kroll and Walter Schoenherr.

Visitation will be at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville.

The former Eleanor R. Genteman was born September 22, 1922 in the Town of Levis, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Katharina Untershutz) Genteman. She received her education in schools there and also Neillsville High School, from which she graduated in 1939.

She was married to Herbert S. Schoenherr May 18, 1941 in Neillsville, and they farmed in the Town of Levis. Recently she edited two books, "History of Meadow View School," and "The Centennial Book for the Town of Levis."

She had been a resident of Memorial Home six months because of ill health. A member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mrs. Schoenherr is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. James (Beverly) Carney of Black River Falls; three sons, Herbert Jr. and Edward, both of Neillsville, and Richard of Rockford, Illinois; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Neubecker of Kenosha; and six grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Henrieta.

Bolitho, Ida (11 January 1916 - 18 December 1983)

CHILI - Ida Bolitho, 67, Route 1, Chili, Town of Fremont, Clark County, died Sunday morning at her home of a heart condition.

Services will be Wednesday at the Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield. The Rev. T.P. Bradtke of Christ Lutheran Church will officiate. Mrs. T.P. Bradtke will be the organist, and William Allen will be the soloist. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be relatives and neighbors.

She was born January 11, 1916 in Postville, Iowa, to the late Mr. and Mrs. James (Mathilda Hawkenson) Bolitho. She received her education in Milwaukee schools. She lived in various cities in Wisconsin with her parents. In 1945, they moved to Route 1, Chili, where they farmed. She retired in 1978. She never married.

Survivors include a brother, Fred, of Chili; and a sister, Mrs. Evald (Alberta) Grimsby of Mauston.

She was predeceased by five brothers and a sister.

UNITY - Esther E. Anderson, 83, Unity, died Sunday at the Colonial House of Colby.

Services will be Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity. The Rev. Timothy A. Duesenberg will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mel Ayer, Leo Bloom, Walter Johnson and Dennis, Jim and Brian Dallman.

Visitation will be at the Rux Funeral Home, Colby.

She was born January 7, 1900 in Chicago, to the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Sophia Kjellborg) Anderson. She was a civil service employee for the 5th Army in Chicago. She never married.

A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, she had no immediate survivors.
