Dux, Emil R. (23 MAR 1897 - 10 Mar 1959)

Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Emil R. Dux, retired, died unexpectedly at his home, 1206 O’Neill St., shortly before 7 o’clock last night. Mr. Dux previously had suffered from a heart ailment. He was 61 years of age.

The Rev. Virgil Holmes will officiate at funeral services in the Neillsville Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday. The body will repose at the Georgas Funeral Home from Thursday noon until noon Saturday, when it will be taken to the church.

Mr. Dux was born in Clark County’s Town of Seif on March 23, 1897, received his education in the community schools and was married tot he former Estella Humboldt at Greenwood on March 24, 1927. He was a member of the Neillsville Methodist Church and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Manley (Erline) Walker, Junction City; a son, DeWayne, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Lange and Mrs. Henry Wasserberger, both of Neillsville., and three grandchildren.
