Timmler, Mildred T. (20 Jul 1916 - 16 Apr 2005)

Mildred T. Timmler, 88, of Marshfield died Saturday morning, April 16, 2005, at the Marshfield Care Center, where she had resided since Dec. 3, 2001.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Zion United Methodist Church in Marshfield with the Rev. Mike Carlson officiating. Jean Roehrborn will be the organist, along with congregational singing. Burial will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

Visitations will be at the church Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the services.

Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Mildred was born on July 20, 1916, in Neillsville to Christian and Nellie (Wagner) Kapfer. She was united in marriage to Edwin E. Timmler on Feb. 19, 1934, in Winona, Minn. He died on Oct. 27, 1988. They farmed in the Loyal area until moving to the city of Marshfield in 1975. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Dale (Barbara) Timmler of West Bend, and a daughter, Edith (Gary) Braun of Marshfield; seven grandchildren, Joan (Joel) Janz, Brian (Jody) Timmler, Sandy (Ken) Mantz, Randy (Sheila) Shortess, Lynn (Brien) McCullough, Kurt (Pam) Braun and Lori (Ty) Staviski; and 14 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a son-in-law, Larry (Yvonne) Shortess of Marshfield.

Besides her parents and husband, Edwin, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jana Shortess, one great grandson, Tanner Janz, three brothers and one sister.
