Blechl, Joseph (18 DEC 1904 - 7 JUN 1957)

Chili, Clark County, Wis. - Joseph Blechl, 52, owner of the Chili Café, which he and his wife had been operating since moving here two years ago, died Friday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, after an extended illness. He was born Dec. 18, 1904, at Oshkosh, and had spent most of his life there.

The body was taken to the Sitter Funeral Home in Oshkosh, where funeral arrangements are being completed. Burial will be in Oshkosh.

During his residence ehre, Mr. Blechl was employed by the Roddis Plywood Corp., Marshfield. Besides his wife, the former Gertrude Shew of Oshkosh, he leaves two sons, Tony and Richard, and his mother, Mrs. Barbara Blechl, Oshkosh.

Brothers and sisters who survive are John and Tony, Mrs. George Gelhac, Mrs. Vernon Luebke, Mrs. Ten Wicinsky and Mrs. Robert Graf. His father died 12 years ago.
