Shortville (Mrs. W. I. Groves)

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Linton of Neillsville were dinner guests at the Robert Volz home Sunday.

Louise Kuhn and Eram Wahlen are boarding with Mrs. Linton while Mrs. Carter is at Rochester, she being called there by the serious illness of her sister, Mrs. Ed. Harvey.

Mrs. Slagle called at Reinarts on Thursday p.m. to visit Mrs. Alfred Schult’z and see the new daughter.

Mrs. P. Kuhn, Geo. Albaugh, Jess Wilding, R. Short and W. Groves helped Mrs. Ed. Short with two comforters Wednesday and enjoyed a very fine dinner.
