Gall, Betty A. (5 JAN 1957)

Barr-Gall

After a wedding trip through the South, Mr. and Mrs. Howard M. Barr will reside in Colby.

Before her marriage to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Worthing Barr of Colby, the bride was Miss Betty Ann Gall. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Marvin F. Gall of Medford.

The exchange of vows was heard by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Gregory Rueter in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, at 8 o'clock Saturday morning.

Attending the bridal pair as best man and matron of honor were the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. William Shinek Jr., Milwaukee. Their other attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Angus Lamont Jr., Colby.

A wide V-neckline banded with net featured the lace bodice of the bridal gown. Lace also was used in the peplum which topped the net hooped skirt. Red and white roses were in her bouquet.

Lace bodices and net-over-taffeta skirts detailed the gowns worn by her attendants. The rose of Mrs. Shinek's frock was matched with the rose carnations which she carried in combination with white carnations. White carnations were also combined with blue ones to match Mrs. Lamont's dress.

Breakfast at the home of the bride followed the nuptials. Other events of the day were the wedding reception and supper, which were held in the VFW Club, Medford.

The bridegroom, who is a graduate of Colby High School, is employed by Northern States Power Co., and his bride is employed by the Colby Clinic. She was graduated from Medford High School, and received her nursing training at St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Marshfield.
