Sherett, Neillie (1847 -*7 Aug. 1934)

Mrs. Neillie Sherett, 86 years old, and one of Neillsville’s oldest residents, was found dead at her home on the north side at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday by Lyman Wing, who has been employed for several years to look after her welfare, attending to such errands as getting her groceries and drinking water.

Mrs. Sherett, who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Weeks, is believed to have been born in Black River Falls, and came to this city with her parents, and a brother, Robert, about 1877.

She was married to Charles Sherett the date of the marriage not being known. Mr. Sherett died about 15 years ago. They had no children. So far as is known Mrs. Sherett has no relatives except a grand niece, Miss Jane Weeks, daughter of Mrs. Fred Weeks. The late Dr. F. T. Weeks being the son of her brother, Robert Weeks.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
