Schoettler, Evelyn (6 May 1931)

A quiet wedding took place at the Catholic parsonage at Loyal on Wednesday, May 6th, when Miss Evelyn Schoettler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schoettler of the town of Beaver became the bride of Mr. John Schweiger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Schweiger of the town of Loyal, the Rev. Aurit performing the ceremony.

The bride wore a dress of light blue flat crepe, hat and accessories to match, and was attended by Miss Rosalind Rueth, niece of the groom who was attired in yellow flat crepe.

The bride carried a bouquet of roses, snapdragons, and stock. Miss Rueth carried a bouquet of carnations, stock and snapdragons.

The groom wore a dark blue suit and was attended by Mr. Joe Miller who wore a dark brown suit.

At 7 o’clock a wedding dinner was served to the bridal couple and in the evening a wedding dance was given to relatives and friends at Dorn’s Barn.

The newlyweds will reside on the groom’s farm located near Loyal.

Both young people are well and favorably known and have a wide circle of friends and acquaintances who join the Tribune in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.
