Baker, Margaret (1852? - 15 May 1931)

Mrs. Margaret Baker, widow of the late James Baker, passed away at her home, 2248 ist. Avenue S., Minneapolis, Minn., May 15, 1931. She had attained the age of 78 years.

The deceased is survived by five daughters and five sons; also thirty one grand children and three great grand children. Funeral services were held at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Mrs. M. K. Leatherdale and Mrs. Albert Davel, daughters of Mrs. Baker; and Gertrude and Lawrence Davel, grand children, drove to Minneapolis Sunday where they attended the funeral services. They returned home Tuesday.

Mrs. Baker will be remembered by many local residents, as she and her husband made their residence here for twenty years. They left this vicinity about twenty years ago at which time they went to Minneapolis to reside.

The Tribune joins the many friends of the bereaved in offering condolences.
