Bey, Nicholas (6 DEC 1855 - 2 Augl 1931)

Nicholas Bey, 75, former local resident passed away ay St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Monday evening following a paralytic stroke.

Funeral services were held at the Dodgeville cemetery Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.

Mr. Bey was born Dec. 6, 1855 in Washington county and grew up to manhood in that community. About forty years ago he was married at Neillsville to Albertine Breadlau. They lived on a farm near Loyal, for a number of years, where Mrs. Bey passed away.

He was employed for a number of years in the power house at Loyal and also at Ogema.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Anna Guetschow of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Patrick McAvoy of Chicago; Mrs. John Klumb of the town of Richfield, and Mrs. Ottilie Stibbe of Interwald. He also leaves a sister, Mrs., Nick Bell of Bakerville, and 10 grandchildren.
