Smith, Ethel B. (Marriage - 24 JUN 1915)

Mr. Adolph Unger and Miss Ethel B. Smith were married June 24, 1915, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Smith, in Phillips, Wis., Rev. R.W. McMurry officiating.

The groom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Unger, grew to manhood in Neillsville, Clark County, graduated from the high school and attended the University of Minnesota for a year. He then went into his father’s shoe store in this city and has since been in active assistance in the business. He is a young man of good business ability, keen intelligence and upright character. He takes an active part in local affairs and is prominent in several fraternal societies.

The bride has been at the head of the English department in Neillsville High School for the past two years. She is a young lady of culture and fine literary taste and endowed too with practical talent that fits her for homemaking and social life in the community. They begin housekeeping in the flat over the store. The new home starts with the best wishes of many friends, with whom we must heartily join.

Thank you so much for this information and I just would love to have one, of Amanda Smith, being married to Benjamin Preston, wouldn't that be great to see all the Smith's family with records,
