Gooch, Ruth M. (Marriage - 21 OCT 1915)
Charles Summer Pickering Jr. and Ruth Marion Gooch were married Oct. 21, 1915 at the home of the bride’s parents east of the city (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) at 9 a.m., Rev. L.B. Colman officiating. Only a few of the immediate relatives and friends were present. C. S. Pickering, father of the groom, Clarence Gooch, brother of the bride, and Miss Irene Skeel of Plainfield were present. Mr. Pickering is a promising young farmer of Plainfield. The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gooch, is a graduate of Plainfield high school and a young lady of excellent qualities.
The couple left Neillsville to visit friends at Merrillan, Milwaukee, Oconomowoc and Brooklyn, on their honeymoon. They will live on a farm near Plainfield.
