Henchen, Arthur (5 JUN 1938 - 7 Apr 1999)

Arthur Henchen, 60, of 800 LaSalle St., Spencer, Wis., died Apr. 7, 1999, at University Hospital in Madison.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mark A. Krueger, pastor, officiating. Ilse Bradtke will be the organist.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be relatives and friends of the family.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel and again from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Henchen was born June 5, 1938, in the town of Weston, Clark County, Wis., to Clarence and Agnes (nee Minbans) Henchen. He was education in town of Weston schools.

He had been a semi-trailer truck driver for various trucking firms until he retired due to ill health.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his children, Sheila Bader of Unity and Dennis Henchen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren, Katie Bader and Ashley Weyer; three brothers, Robert (Evelyn) Henchen of Greenwood, Ronnie (Joann) Henchen of Eau Claire and Clarence (Ethel) Henchen of Marshfield; and two sisters, Doris (Shorty) Derks and Clara Belle (Andrew) Djubensky, all of Greenwood. He is further survived by his special friends, Dorothy Vanderhoof of Spencer.

He was predeceased by a son, Dale Henchen on Dec. 8, 1985; his parents, and a brother Butch Henchen.
