GEORGE DUNN FAMILY

George Dunn, born May 15,1806 at Lincolnshire, England, arrived in New York in the 1820's and settled in Morristown, New York where he met and married Miss Annastatia Freel who was born on May 9, 1816. From this union on May 12, 1829 were born Mrs. George (Margaret) Forman, and three sons, Edwin C., Francis T. and James Albert Dunn. They lived for a time in New York and Ontario, Canada, then moved to Wisconsin where they lived in the town of York and were finally laid to rgst at the United Methodist cemetery. When the came to Wisconsin it was mostly Indian territory and then Wisconsin became a state. George Dunn was a carpenter and cabinet maker. Francis T. died at the age of five years on April 4, 1845. The presence of Edwin is unknown. Margaret married George Forman, November 1, 1871, Niagara Falls, N.Y. James Albert married Nancy Jane McKenzie February 28, 1971 in Canada. (Jamps and Nancy were Merrill Dunn's grandparents. He supplied this information on his family. He lives at Medford.)
