Weiting, Clara (Marriage - 16 May 1917)

Mr. Alfred Carl and Miss Clara Weiting, both of Pine Valley, Clark County, Wis., were married Wednesday, May 16, 1917, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Weiting, Rev. Reiff of Granton, officiating. The groom's brother, Iving Carl, acted as groomsman, and the bride's sister, Ida Weiting was bridesmaid. There were a large number of friends present.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Carl, and was brought on the home farm north of this city. He is a fine young man in every way, industrious, intelligent, and well liked by everyone.

The bride is a most excellent young lady, well fitted in every way to take part in making a home.

The young couple will carry on the Carl farm at the Mound, Mr. and Mrs. Carl are planning to move to their home in Neillsville in June.

We join in wishing these young people great success and happiness.
