Peterson, Mabel O. (Marriage - 4 Dec 1917)

Mr. Ernest G. Palmer and Miss Mabel O. Peterson were married Dec. 4, 1917, at the Presbyterian Manse in Mauston, Wis., Rev. S.B. Pinney officiating. After the ceremony the young couple went on to Madison and later visited relatives at Ft. Atkinson.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Palmer of Pine Valley, Clark County, Wis., and a young man of high character. He grew up on his father's farm west of the city, attended Neillsville schools and established here a circle of friends who admire him for his intelligence, industry and good standards of life. For some time past he has carried on his father's farm. The bride grew up here also. She is the daughter of Mrs. Oliver Peterson, living on the eastern edge of the city. She was educated in Neillsville schools and has filled several positions efficiently. For some time past she has been employed at the Big Store. Her ability and good service in every position she has occupied here made her a wide circle of friends.

These young people are both so well known to so many here that they really need no introduction. Their future success and happiness is a matter of deep interest to a host of friends. Especially is this true to the writer; the groom has been a frequent visitor at hour home and an intimate friend of our family since he was a small boy. Our interest in him is very strong, and we offer our heartfelt wishes for the welfare of him and his bride.
