Connors, Annie (23 JUL 1864 - 8 MAY 1887)
Died, at her residence in this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.), on the 8th inst., Mrs. Annie, beloved wife of James Connors, aged 22 years, 9 months and 15 days.
Annie Boylan was born at Portage, Columbia Co., Wis., on July 23, 1864, her parents moving soon after to a farm in Kingston, Green Lake Co., Wis., where she grew to womanhood under the protection of mother, and older brothers, and sisters, her father passing into eternity when she was but eleven years of age. Three years ago she came to this village on a visit to relatives and first met James Connors, with whom she enjoined in wedlock at her home at Kingston, on Nov. 23, 1885, removing immediately to this village, where she has since continued to reside. A devout member of the Catholic Church during her whole life, she was not unprepared for her journey " to that bourne from whence no traveler returns," only regretting leaving her husband and infant daughter born to them on the 18th ult., behind. Her husband and relatives have the deepest sympathy of the entire community in their affliction. As a kind, sociable and unassuming lady she will long be remembered by her friends and acquaintances in this vicinity. The interment on Tuesday last was conducted by father Untrant, of Edson, and the remains place to rest in the Thorp Catholic Cemetery at this place, a large concourse of people following the remains to their last resting place.
