Mr & Mrs. Thos. Dygrt sold their home and moved to Thorp.

Mr & Mrs. Chas. Buchman had a son last Thursday.

Mr & Mrs. Frank Pritzl had a son Aug. 11th.

Edith Lubner began teaching in the Kern district on Monday.

MM Peter Biddle had a daughter August 4th.

H.O. Boynton who purchased H. Friess Meat Market took charge August 1st.

Thos. Dygart bought 4 acres from Arthur Seaman.

W.J. McGrogan sold his home to his dad John McGrogan.

Frances Zakiewicz is now a cleark at the Thorp Mercantile Co’s store.


Caroline Gay and Joseph Teclaw were wed July 27th.

Mike Jordan and Frank LeBonte are planning on draining their farms with a ditch.

Mr & Mrs. Ernest Shoemaker had a son on July 21st.

O.A. Solvrud sold his Meat Market to Boehm Bros.

Margaret Keideth is training to become a nurse in Marshfield.

Leland Albert and Earl Boardman left Saturday for Fort Snelling.

Mary Ramer, age 52, died July 28th.

C.W. Wolf, completed the census of children living in the district: 186 boys and 187 girls.

Wallace J. Landry Menomonie on Sunday after visiting his father.

Helen Przewoznik and Marvin Anderson were wed July 22nd.

Elizabeth Weston and Bernard Boehm were wed July 12th in Sioux Falls, SD.

Sandra Jean came home to Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Lund in Iowa on July 26th.


Mr & Mrs. Leonard Chapman had a son.

Judy Ann Person and Joseph Michael Szemraj Jr. were wed July 24th.

Jane Marie Niznik and Michael James Smelser were wed.

Herman Doege, age 55, died in Scott City, Missouri.


A fire destroyed a milk tanker truck and personal property belonging to David Abramczak.

Gary and Peggy Hoff had a son July 29th.

David and Karen Pszeniczny had a daughter on July 30th.

Ed (Koscielski) Kosse, age 88, died July 31st in Tombstone, AZ.
