Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 09/09/1915 Bogumill, Lucy H.
(Marriage - 7 Sep 1915) A pretty wedding
was solemnized at st. Hedwig's Catholic Church on Tuesday morning,
Sept. 7, 1915, at nine o'clock. The contracting parties were Miss
Lucy Helen Bogumill and Mr. Stanley J. Manicki, Father F. X. Pudlo
was the officiating clergyman who tied the nuptial knot,
pronouncing the ceremony which united the lived of these estimable
young people of our city (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) The bride was
becomingly attired in crepe de chine, carried a bouquet of pink
flowers and looked the very queen that her life characterizes her
to be. The groom wore the conventional black. John Manicki of
Wausau, brother of the groom, was best man and Miss Elizabeth
Bogumill, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Other attendants
were Leon Bogumill and Miss Rose Anyzewski, and Thomas Bogumill and
Helen Bogumill. The bride is a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Bogumill and one of our choicest
young ladies. The groom has held the position of assistant
postmaster here for several years and his services as such are
highly appreciated by the patrons of the office. The couple has
fitted up the rooms over the post office, where they will reside.
The many friends of the bride and groom wish them a long, pleasant
and prosperous life. For a short
wedding trip they went to Wausau via automobile and will return the
latter part of the week. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
