(26 Dec 1885 - 27 NOV 1917) Paul Julius Krause
passed away at his home near Thorp, Clark County, Wis. on Tuesday
morning, Nov. 27, 1917, after a short illness of bronchitis.
Deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Krause and was born in the
town of Koshkonong, Jefferson Co., Wis., on Dec. 26, 1885. In 1903
he came to Clark County, Wis., with his parents and they made their
home near Thorp. In 1905 he attended the C. C. C. C. College at
Madison, Wis. For the last number of years he was afflicted with
Rheumatism and Anchylosis, and though his sufferings were intense
he was always cheerful and had a pleasant word for everyone. He
leaves to mourn their loss, his father and mother, two sisters,
Miss Elsie and Mrs. Otto Darge, and three brothers, Charles, Fred
and Will, and a host of friends. The funeral
services were held at the parental home on Thursday morning at
9:30, The Rev. H. S. Laabs officiating. An unusually large number
of friends were gathered to pay their tribute of respect and
friendship to the departed one. The floral offerings also bespoke
an exceptionally wide circle of friends. Interment took place on
