Banderob, Claus F. (5 DEC 1839 - 26 JUN 1918)

Claus Frederick Banderob died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. Kronberg, in the town of Thorp, Clark County, Wis. on Saturday, June 26, 1918, of paralysis and hemorrhage of the brain. He was born at Nordhestadt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, on Dec. 5, 1839. When sixteen years of age he came to this country, settling at New Holstein, Wis., where he resided until March 1883, when he moved his family to the town of Worden, Clark County, and followed the occupation of a farmer for many years. Deceased leaves an aged wife and ten children as follows: Charles and Frank Banderob and Mrs. Mary McDonald of Huntley, Mont., Ed of Marshfield, Oregon, Hugo and Peter of Keomo, Alberta, Canada, Mrs. M. Kronberg, Mrs. Theodore Schultze, Mrs. Joe Haas and Harry Banderob of this place; also two brothers, John Banderob of Oshkosh, Herman Banderob of Thorp, and one sister, Mrs. Maggie Lauson of Stanley. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon from the residence, Rev. George Crow officiating. Interment took place in the Thorp Village Cemetery.
