FRANK BORYSIAK

Frank E. Borysiak, age 82, of Thorp, died in Chippewa Falls on Monday, October 14, 2002.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2002 at St. Bernard’s - St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp. Father John Puerner will officiate and burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery, Thorp. Visitation was held at Thorp Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Frank Edward Borysiak was born on December 29, 1919, the son of Szymon and Bolvina [Wozniak] Borysiak. He was raised on the family farm and educated in rural Thorp. After completing his education, Frank remained on the family farm and then later worked in the harvest fields, in North Dakota, during the summer. He was united in marriage on September 15, 1945 to Ann Bartosiewicz. He farmed his entire life in the Thorp area. Frank was a member of St. Bernard’s-St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting and traveling.

He is survived by his wife Ann; three sons: Edward [Marlene] Borysiakof Mosinee, John Borysiak of Thorp, Fran Borysiak of Withee; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Zigmund.
