Gregorich, Leo F. (23 Apr 1917 - 28 Apr 2003)

Leo F. Gregorich, 86, Willard, died on Monday, April 28, 2003, in the Palliative Care unit at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, May 1, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. The Rev. Joseph Follmar officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Gregorich, Aaron Gregorich, John Stamcar, Bill Petkovsek, Michael Artac and David Petkovsek.

Leo Francis Gregorich was born on April 23, 1917, in Bernard, Iowa, to John and Mary (nee Petric) Gregorich. He was 6 years old when his family moved to Willard to farm. He married Dorothy Petkovsek on May 17, 1947, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. They farmed near Willard until retiring in 1980. His interests included all sports, especially fishing, hunting and football.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Gregorich, Willard; three sons, Roger "Bear" (Rhonda) Gregorich, Willard, Roy (Charlotte) Gregorich, Willard, and Fred (Jill) Gregorich, Willard; seven grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Christine Bukovec, Greenwood.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, George Gregorich; four brothers, Matt Gregorich, Joe Gregorich, Martin Gregorich and Eddie Gregorich; and one sister, Mayme Kezele.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, assisted the family with arrangements.
