Meutzelburg, Carolina (1826 - 13 Feb 1906)

Mrs. Gotfried Meutzelburg, residing two miles east of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., died at her home Tuesday, aged 79 years. Mrs. Meutzelburg was born in Germany in 1826. In 1850 deceased, whose maiden name was Carolina Siefert, was married to Gotfried Muetzelburg. Nine children were born, of which six are living. In the winter of 1868 the husband died and in the following summer the widow and her family came to America, location in Sheboygan Co, Wis. The family lived there 14 years and in 1882 moved to Loyal.

The surviving members of the family are Charles and William of Loyal and August of Sheboygan, Mrs. Minnie Dagen, Loyal, Mrs. Hanna Lenherd, Colby and Mrs. Mary Heideman, Sheboygan.

The funeral was held at 11 o'clock this morning, the Rev. Lang officiating.
