Casually, we learn that Mr. Wm Darton, of the town of Beaver, had a leg broken, below the knee, during last week. Though not a bad break, it is nevertheless a serious matter with a person in his advanced age. Mr. Darton has represented his town on the County Board for the past two years. He has made am most capable officer, and his absence at the coming meeting of the Board will be regretted.
Mr. Henry Klopf, a son of the German merchant of this village, has started a shop in the store north of "Headquarters," where he will repair watches, clocks, and everything pertaining to his trade. He will also put in a stock of all kinds of jewelry.
