100 Years Ago 08 Nov 1902 R. R. Urquhart has retired from the Ideal Restaurant and Bakery and will seek a new location.
A recent analysis of an ore sample from the iron mine of Stanley Mining Co., made by H. E. Erickson, showed 65 to 75 percent in iron. - - - - - - 70 Years Ago 04 Nov 1932 The new food store of Andrew Korn and Sons opens tomorrow in the Grubb building formerly occupied by the post office.
Many farmers have been using a mixture of half gasoline and half distillate this summer, home-mixed, in their tractors, pump engines and cars. It proves that there is always a way to bet the game or excessive prices and taxes.
