Hallock, Pearl (Marriage - 24 JUN 1908)

Last evening at eight o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. S. Hallock, in the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis. occurred the marriage of Miss Pearl Hallock to Prof. F. R. Thornton of Bethel.

The bride moved here last spring with her parents and has made many friends during her short stay who regret her departure. The groom is a teacher in the Bethel Academy and has a responsible position.

They will stay here for a week, after which they will begin housekeeping at Bethel.

Among those who attended the ceremony from abroad were Prof. And Mrs. Shepplar, Mrs. Kate Macey, Misses Ida and Ruby Owen, Prof. And Mrs. A. W. Spaulding, Dr. M. Humprhey, all teachers at Bethel Academy, Elder and Mrs. McReynolds of Grand Rapids, Earl Thornton of Leesburg, Ohio, and Misses Thiel and Hancock of Chicago.
