Lindner, Albertine (20 Dec 1843 - 16 NOV 1912)

Mrs. John Lindner died Saturday, Nov. 16, 1912, at the age of sixty-eight years.

It has pleased God to remove from our midst Albertine Lindner. She was born Dec. 20, 1843, in Zambost, Germany. Soon after her birth she was accepted into the kingdom of God through Holy Baptism and having reached the required age, also confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Feb. 2, 1868, she entered the holy bonds of matrimony with John Lindner. This union was blessed with nine children, of which two daughters and one son were called away before the mother. About 41 years have passed since she came to America with her family to establish a new home. After living two years at Hartford, Wis., she moved to the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., remaining there until she made this village her home a few years ago. These last years were not pleasant but full of suffering. She bore her cross with patience and fled to Jesus, to Whom alone there is comfort, life and salvation. On the 16th of the months she passed away at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 26 days. She is survived by her husband, six children, one brother, two sisters and other relatives. May she rest in peace.

After a long life she died as she lived, honored, trusted and loved. She reared her own monument while she lived in the hearts of all who knew her.

The funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock and the remains laid to rest in the Loyal Village Cemetery.
