Rondorf, Mrs. Joseph (27 Jan 1861 - 21 Jan 1913)

Mrs. Joseph Rondorf died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1913, at noon at her home in the town of York, Clark County, Wis. at the age of fifty-one years, Eleven months and twenty-four days, of an inward cancer.

The deceased was born in La Crosse Co. on Jan. 27, 1861, and came to Clark County, Wis. in 1882 with her husband, and settled on 120 acres of wild land, which is at present one of the most model farms in this county, due partly to her efforts.

She was a sufferer from an inward cancer for some time. All the care and love that skilled physicians and an anxious household could devise and apply for her comfort and assistance were brought into play, but despite the prayers and entreaties of all who knew and loved her their appeals were overruled and her spirit took its flight to that home the Christian believes is the fulfillment of the life everlasting.

The funeral services were held on Friday, Jan. 24th, at the York Center Church and the remains buried in the York Cemetery.
