Reider, John (1860 - 7 Jan 1917)

Mr. John Reider, brother of Mrs. M. J. Christenson, died at the Wood County Asylum at Marshfield last Friday, Jan. 7, 1916.

Deceased has been ailing for about thirty years and for the past eighteen years has been insane. Thirty years ago he broke his back, since which time he has been unable to do anything.

Mr. Reider was born in Austria in 1860 and came to this country with his parents in 1870. He was an unmarried man and leaves to mourn his death, his father at Rochester, Minn., and two sisters, Mrs. M. J. Christenson of Loyal, Clark County, Wis. and Mrs. Henry Baker of Milwaukee. The body was brought to Loyal Saturday for burial, the funeral taking place Monday morning at 9:00 from St. Balthasar's Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph Stenz officiating.

Those who attended the funeral from out of town were Mr. John Reider Sr. of Rochester, Minn., and Mrs. Henry Baker of Milwaukee.
