Lang, Esther (Marriage - 13 Apr 1920)

The wedding of Miss Esther Lang, a charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Lang, to Richard Kalbskopf, was solemnized at the bride's home at 11 a.m. Tuesday and was a very pretty event. The decorations were beautiful, the colors being pink and white. The impressive ceremony of the Lutheran Church, performed by Rev. L. T. Thom, was used. Miss Olive Lang, sister of the bride, was the bridesmaid, and Rev. Philip Froehlke of Neenah, a cousin of the groom, served as the groomsman. A sumptuous wedding repast was served. The event was of a very quiet nature, only the immediate relatives and a few intimate friends of the contracting parties being present. In the afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Kalbskopf left for Milwaukee and other cities to spend their honeymoon. They will make their home at 505 South Cedar St., Marshfield. (Marshfield News)

Does anyone know of the Kalbskopf family. I am doing genealogical research into the parents of Richard Kalbskopf whose parents John and Maria kalbskopf were in Winona, MN in the 1870's, 1880's, and also until 1910 when Richard's mother (widow by then) moved to Wisconsin to live with her son Richard. I have a strong indication that my ancestors Cornelia/Hannah/Kunigunde nee: Lange was maiden name Kalbskopf. Seeking any descendants or information on this Kalbskopf family as I believe Richard's father was perhaps a nephew of Kunigunde (Cornelia Heberer in the 1880 Census) Lang(e). Please email me or call me at 603 788 4585
