The P.T.A. meeting was held at the Lyon School on Friday evening. A short program was given by members of the community. Miss Gertrude Tonn of Loyal gave a very interesting talk on her travels abroad.
A group of young folks enjoyed a sleigh ride party on Sunday eve.
Mr. and Mrs. Clair Lyon spent Monay with the former's mother, Mrs. Lillie Lyon.
Miss Loirie Mathwig was a Friday supper guest at the Walter Sweiso home.
The Dale Hawley family was Sunday visitors at the Milton Hawley home.
Miss Dorothy Esselman of Marshfield visited home folks on Sunday.
Several relatives helped Joe Rueth Jr. celebrate his birthday on Saturday evening. A pleasant evening was spent.
Miss Gertrude Tonn was a supper guest at the Herb White home on Friday. Mrs. Paul Gravitter visited Mrs. James White, Friday.
Misses Eunita and Elna White visited their aunt, Mrs. James White, Sunday.
Several of the farmers in our vicinity are working on the Town's stone crusher at the Paul Feder farm. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Lyon visited the Ollie Smith home cast of Loyal Sunday.
Franklin Rueth sawed wood for Herb White, Monday; Ed Kreiser, Friday; and Art Becker on Saturday.
Mrs. Paul Gravitter assisted Mrs. H. White with sausage making Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb White, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Swieso attended the Philathaens class party given in the M. E. Church Parlors Wednesday eve. There was a large number of classmates and their husbands present and a very enjoyable evening was spent after which a delicious lunch was served.
