Wescott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wescott of the town of Eau
Pleine, Marathon Co., Wis., died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in
Marshfield on Sunday, Feb. 8, 1920, of pneumonia. Roswell Lyle
Wescott was born on the farm in the town of Eau Pleine Oct. 9,
1893, where most of his life was spent with his parents. On June
20, 1917, he was united in marriage to Miss Cordelia Wicks,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Wicks, of the town of Brighton, and
to them was born one son, Lyle Don Wescott. Besides his wife and
son he is survived by his father and mother and two brothers, Harry
and Glen. Ross was of a
quiet and unassuming disposition and well liked and respected by
all in the community in which he lived. As a fond parent and
husband he never felt so happy and contented as when he was at home
with his loved ones. The funeral
services were held at the family residence on Wednesday, conducted
by Rev. J. G. Vance of the Methodist Church and the remains laid to
