William Wolbert whose sickness was reported two weeks ago died at his home Tuesday evening, March 11. Mr. Wolbert was born at Mays Landing, N. J., in 1810. When a young man he moved to Indiana where he resided for several years, moving from there to Iowa, and from there to Minn. About the year 1869 he moved to Clark county, Wis., where he has since made his home. When young he learned several trades, in all of which he excelled, and has always been known as an industrious and ingenious man. Him home has been quite a resort for the curious who whished to see his many inventions many of which are novel indeed. Last summer his wife wandered from her home in a fit of insanity and nothing definite was ever heard of her afterwards. As she left two days before that terrible storm, so fresh in the minds of us all, it was feared by many that she had perished from exposure. After many days search Mr. W. sought the services of a clairvoyant whose thrilling description of the fate of Mrs. Wolbert, as she pretended to see it, added to his already over-burdened mind, led to brain fever of which he died. He leaves five children and I have often heard him say that no two of his children lived in the same state. A. D. Wolbert, of Lincoln, Neb. Arrived a few hours before his father died.

Thanks for posting this. I've been looking some time for what finally happened to this set of my GG grandparents. Interesting information. We have more on this family if anyone cares to get in contact.  Tom Laska
