ABBOTSFORD TRIBUNE (Abbotsford, Wis.) 11/13/1924 Baehr, Elna
(Marriage - 6 NOV 1924) Last Thursday
Elna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Baehr, became the bride of
Herbert Wilhelmi. The wedding took place at 1:30 in the Evangelical
Lutheran Church at Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. Rev. Keiper gave
an excellent sermon, which the young couple will never forget. The
bride was dressed in white messaline draped with silk lace. The
veil was of embroidered silk net with a crown effect wreath,
trimmed with pearls. The bride carried
a beautiful bouquet of pink roses, ferns and showers of white
chrysanthemums. The groom wore the conventional blue suit. The
bridesmaids were Miss Norma Baehr, sister of the bride, and Clara
Baehr, a cousin, wore dresses of tan silk trimmed with lace. The best men were
Arnold Baehr, brother of the bright, and Otto Busse. After the words
were spoken that made them man and wife the happy couple drove up
to Medford, with Miss Mildred Voss as Chauffeur, in their gaily
trimmed Oldsmobile Sedan. As they returned
to the home of the bride's parents, a bounteous dinner was served
to the wedding party, relatives and nearest neighbors. The young couple
left Saturday evening for Milwaukee, where they will make their
future home. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
