Larson, Alma (Marriage - 27 Augl 1925)

At noon Thursday, Aug. 27, 1925, a pretty ceremony was performed by Rev. A. C. Odden of Owen, Clark County, Wis., when Miss Alma Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Larson of Abbotsford, Wis., became the bride of Mr. Arthur Thompson of Curtiss, Clark County, at the home of the bride's parents.

Miss Emma Larson, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, Harold Mathias, Nephew of the groom, as best man.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white satin faced canton crepe, wore a veil and carried a bouquet of tea roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of orchid chiffon and carried a bouquet of roses.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, to the bridal party and immediate relatives. The out of town guests were Rev. and Mrs. Odden of Owen, Mrs. Simpson and three children of Sturgeon Bay, Mrs. Thea Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Matthias and sons Franklin and Carl, Mr. Ole Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Thompson and two children, and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Peterson, all of Curtiss, Mrs. Agnes Johnson and son Lavern of Unity, and Miss Louis Larson of Eau Claire.

The young couple left on an extended trip to Northern Wisconsin, Michigan and other points, after which they will return to Curtiss, where they will make their home.

The bride needs no introduction to her host of Abbotsford friends, whose high esteem and regard she has won. She is a graduate of our high school and has been one of our successful teachers. For the past year she has been supervisor of schools in Clark County, continuing with her usual excellent work while in that position.

The groom, though not so well known here, is considered a young man of ability and excellent character.

The Tribune joins with many friends in wishing them a lifetime of happiness.
