Hanne, Adolph (10 MAY 1881 - 8 Feb 1928)

Adolph Hanne of Green Grove, Clark County, Wis., died at the Wis. General Hospital at Madison Sunday morning, Feb. 8, 1928, Bright's disease being the cause of his departure. Funeral services were held at the house Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock and at the Green Grove Lutheran Church at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. Goetsch officiating. Interment was made in the Green Grove Cemetery.

The deceased was born at Elgin, Iowa, May 10, 1881. When a young man, he moved to Illinois, a few years alter to Colby, Wis., but did not remain long and after a few years returned to Illinois. He lived in various places until 1923, when he moved to Green Grove. He was employed as patrol man on county trunk N. He was married to Miss Theresa Haselbeck at Lodina, Ill., in 1911. His wife, one daughter, Elizabeth, and one adopted son, Donald, survive him. One sister and four brothers preceded him in death. He became seriously ill last September.

He was a man of good moral and firm Christian character and manifested a strong Christian spirit in his entire conduct. He was a very industrious citizen, and during the short time he has lived in Green Grove, he gained the confidence and friendship of the entire community.
