Phonograph (Colby, Wis.) 12/09/1926 Schnabel, Esther
(Marriage - 7 Dec 1926) A very pretty
wedding was solemnized last Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1926, when Miss Esther
Schnabel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schnabel, became the bride
of William Zarnke, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Zarnke, Sr., at the
Reformed Church parsonage, rev. J. C. Rosenau officiating. Miss
Olga Zarnke, sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaid and the groom
was attended by Leo Schnabel, a brother of the bride. The bride wore a
beautiful dress of white satin and georgette crepe and carried a
shower bouquet of pale pink carnations. The bridesmaid wore a dress
of pale green flat crepe. A wedding
reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, the home
being nicely decorated with green and white streamers for the
occasion. In the evening, a free wedding dance was given at
Cherokee hall, which was largely attended. They will leave
for Milwaukee, where they will make their future home. Both the bride and
groom have many friends in this vicinity (Colby, Wis.), who extend
congratulations and wish them a long, pleasant and prosperous
life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
