On returning from Duluth soon after marriage he and his wife spent the balance of their life engaged in farming in this area. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William Rosta of Lakewood, California and Mrs. Luther Steen of Eau Claire, five grandchildren and a host of friends who will greatly miss his passing. Funeral services were held September 23, 1959 in the Methodist church in Humbird with Rev. Jack Burt officiating and interment was made in Cleveland cemetery. Casket bearers were Rolland Hess, Elmer Hess, Edwin Holman, Arnold Holman, Raymond Steward and Robert Nigaard.
