OBITUARY

Mrs. Lloyd G. Schlichter passed away at her home, Tuesday evening, September 22, 1925, at the age of 34 years, 9 months, and four days.

Manda E. Nordrum was born on December 18, 1890, at McKenna Wisconsin. At the age of four, she came with her parents to Fairchild, where she grew to womanhood. On August 1915, she was united in marriage to Lloyd G. Schlichter, at Plainview, Minnesota, where they resided for three years. In 1918 they returned to Fairchild and have since made their home on a farm six miles south of Fairchild. To this union two children were born, Hildagard, age 9, and Frances Manda, age 6.

Mrs. Schlichter was a good wife, a kind and loving mother, and will be sadly missed in the community as well as in the home. Besides her husband and children, she leaves to mourn her death, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Nordrum, her brother, Ener T. Nordrum, of Eau Claire, and her two sisters, Alma and Evelyn, both of Fairchild. She also leaves numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Interment took place at the village cemetery on Friday, September 25, 1925.
