The remains of Mrs. Brotherton Miles, who died at her home in Withee, Clark County, Wis., were brought to the home of her brother, Robert Brotherton, and funeral services were held from the M. E. Church in this city (Colby, Wis.) Sunday afternoon, Rev. J. C. Vance officiating.

Ella Brotherton was born at Baraboo, Wis. on March 10, 1878, and in 1886 came with her parents to Colby. On sept. 14, 1899 she was united in marriage to Wm. Miles of Loyal and to this union ten children were born, Alice, Rosetta, Louie, Richard, Henry, Sophia, Frances, Grace and Will, Robert having died when two years old. Besides the children, she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Brotherton and brothers, Robert, Theo., and Alvin of Colby and Thomas of Harrison, Idaho, and three sisters, Maud of Colby, Sadie of Pekhama, Wash., and Kate Hartford of Mead, Wash. (Colby Phonograph)
