Westergaard, Agnes (Marriage - 29 Apr 1920)

A pretty church wedding was solemnized on Thursday afternoon at the Danish Church at Withee, Clark County, Wis., at 4 o'clock, when Miss Agnes Westergaard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Westergaard of this city and Mr. Arthur Jensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jens Jensen of the village of Withee, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. The young couple was attended by Miss Nora Smith and Mr. Chris Christoffersen of this city. The ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dixon, pastor of the Danish Church.

Miss Westergaard was one of Owen's popular young ladies and for the past two years has been at Eau Claire as stenographer in the law offices of attorney Dunn. She is a graduate of the Owen High School and has spent the greater part of her life in this city. Her many friends her and at Eau Claire will wish for her only success and happiness in their married life.

Mr. Jensen, a popular young man of Withee, for the past three years has been working in Eau Claire, where he holds a responsible position with the Stacy Fruit Co. Prior to his going to Eau Claire he assisted his father with his farm work, and was always a popular young man in all social activities.

After the wedding a dinner was served at the bride's home in this city to immediate friends and relatives, the young couple leaving in the evening for a trip to Illinois, where they will visit for a few days at the home of the groom's brother, after which they will return to Eau Claire, where they will make their future home.

Those from away who came to attend the wedding were: Mrs. Peter Peterson and Mrs. Peter Jensen of Waupaca; Mrs. Peter Mortensen, Misses Enga and Mina Sretoes, Miss Anderson and Mr. Chris Sather of Eau Claire.
