Luraas, Mrs. Aslaug (11 Dec 1853 - 13 Jan 1923)

Mrs. Aslaug Luraas died at her home in the town of Longwood, Clark County, Wis., Saturday afternoon, at three o'clock, of pneumonia, following an illness of about three weeks. She was sixty-nine years, one month and two days of age.

Mrs. Luraas and two sons came to Longwood about five years ago, where they settle on the Old Missling farm and since then have made it their home. She leaves to mourn, three sons and two daughters, Herman and Henry, both of who were at home at the time of her death, and Clarence who lives at Mount Herob. One daughter resides at Menomonie, Mich., and one at Mount Herob, Wis., all of whom came to attend the funeral.

The funeral services were held from the Norwegian Lutheran Church on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. M. K. Aaberg officiating, and the body was taken this morning to Neillsville and there to Mount Herob, her former home, where it will be laid to rest on Friday, following services which will be held at that place.

The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of a great many friends in the loss of their mother.
