Hugo Stutte, 84, Loyal, died Saturday, January 9, 1993, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 1993 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated. Burial was in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Dyre, Jr., Steve Slizewski, Dave Champa, Mike Stutte, Mike Sterwald, and Alan Rosik.
Hugo was born August 27, 1908, in Norwalk. To Fred and Anna (nee Degenhardt) Stutte. He received his education at St. Balthasar School, Loyal. He moved to Loyal in 1909. He married Florence Dyre June 12, 1933, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. She preceded him in death March 31, 1982. They farmed in the town of Loyal until 1967 when he retired and moved to the city of Loyal. Since July 1989 he had been residing at the Neillsville Memorial Home. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Nan Jean) Koch, Garden Prairie, Illinois; two sons, Terry, Loyal; Duane, Oconomowoc; one sister, Mrs. Hilda Loos, Loyal; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and two sisters, Laura Stutte and Clara Couse.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
