Combs, Blanche (Marriage - 19 UN 1926)

Miss Blanche Combs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Combs, four and one-half miles north of Owen, Clark County, Wis., left Owen June 16 for Great Falls, Montana, where she became wedded to Mr. Roger Hutton of 711 Central Av. Of that city.

A pretty wedding was solemnized Saturday evening, June 19, 1926, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Hutton. The ceremony was read at 8 o'clock by Dr. H. S. Harriss, pastor of the First Methodist Church. The Lohengrin wedding march was played by Andrew Shindler, and Mrs. Arthur Lewis san "I Love You Truly."

The bride wore a becoming gown of French blue satin with silver overlace and carried American Beauty roses. Her maid of honor, Miss Gertrude Hutton, sister of the groom, wore orchid crepe. Andrew Cameron was best man.

Fifty guests were present at the wedding. Many beautiful and useful gifts were received by the couple. A lively party dances was in sway until 3 a.m.

A kitchen shower, party and dance was given in the evening of June 23 in honor of the bride and groom. On the evening of June 26 a wiener roast and lawn dance was given at Sun River Park, five miles from Great Falls, as a farewell party for the bride and groom, who departed Sunday for Helena, Mont., where they will make their home for the summer.

Miss Combs was formerly a dining room girl at the Woodland Hotel of Owen. Mr. Roger Hutton is a young contractor in the Transfer and Hauling business.

Parties and showers await the return of Mr. and Mrs. Hutton to Great Falls.
