Waldberg, Bernard (? - 1 Mar 1928)

Losing control of his Chandler sedan, four and one-half miles east of this city this afternoon, Bernard Waldberg, Detroit, a traveling salesman for the Drinkhaus Co., also of that city, was instantly killed when his car began slipping on the icy road, and crashed into the guide post, then turning completely over in the ditch. Mr. Waldberg was pinned underneath the top, which was crushed in, crushing his body between the top and steering wheel. Death was instantaneous and his car a total wreck.

Passers by on the road came upon the accident, and immediately notified Dr. Baker of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.), who went to the accident and ordered the body removed to the undertaking rooms of Griebenow-Weirich Co. Attorney Paul Roman was notified and expressed his opinion that no inquest was necessary, as there was no cause to believe the accident was due to any other cause than icy roads.

Waldberg is a man about 49 years old, and notice of his death has been sent to relatives at Detroit.
